Liz + Cam: Tonquin Beach, Tofino, BC
This tiny wedding might just take the cake for most beautiful of all time. It’s a total gamble getting married in Tofino at the end of November, possibly the rainiest month of the year. If it’s gonna be nasty it’s gonna be real nasty buuuuuuuuut if it’s not it can be so incredibly gorgeous such as on this particular day. Liz and Cam spent their wedding weekend at Cedarwood Cove, a little romantic retreat on the inlet side of Tofino. I met Cam there while we waited for Liz to get back from Salty Dolls Hair Salon, It didn’t take long to feel as though I had known Cam for years, he was so easy going and easy to talk to and was just beaming with excitement. Liz arrived looking drop dead gorgeous and like with Cam, we hit it off immediately. We did a first look overlooking the calm inlet of Tofino. After some bubbles we headed to North Chesterman Beach where we were greeted with the most amazing sky and light that makes these rare winter days so breath taking. Liz and Cam said their ‘I do’s” at Tonquin Beach where the light and clouds continued to do magical things for us. We shot till dark and I left the newly weds to go be wined and dined at the Wolf in the Fog.
