There has been some serious radio silence on here for the past while…..oops. All the tech things are definitely the first things to fly by the wayside once life ramps up. Ramp up it did but I was busy for all good reasons… busy parenting the best kiddo ever, busy doing a job I absolutely love and busy getting out on some rad adventures with my little family. Saying all that is part of the reason why I am back from my blogging hiatus, I want to share with you some of the amazing weddings that so many incredible people trusted me to document. The first one being Jade and Josh’s wedding at the Back Rock Resort in Ucluelet. It was a rainy July wedding but so beautiful none the less. It was actually so beautiful that I think it confirmed what I feel I already knew. I like rainy weddings more than sunny weddings. There is no doubt that rain adds some extra challenges, for both the photographer and clients that a sunny wedding doesn't . But I think that you are rewarded for your efforts in the final images. I am in love with the moodiness that comes with the rain and paired with the rugged west coast landscape I am not sure that there is a prettier place in the world. And, if it get too gross and rainy just go to the bar for a cocktail:)
